I do not know how much of a slight touch the HDR made, but whatever the effect, you have one very dramatic presentation. I like this one very much, JImbob.
The FDRjr. really works well on the bare trees I am finding out from your posts JimboB. It has taken you to the next level. As soon as I get the dust out of my mouth I will try and join you.
It sounds like a recipe, Jimbob. Lamb stew with a touch of mint or some such thing. lol Really though, that touch can work wonders as it has in this very pretty view of this creek. It has a lot of dimension making us feel part of the scene.
Very nice work with controling the HDR Jim....and you picked the perfect image to do it with. Great presentation and postwork. ( Give him books and send him to school....look what he can do now..) LOL.
This is terrific JimBob, the HDR has really added to it. There's so much depth and darkness in that water, and the gold of the grasses warms everything up perfectly. I like the way the trees are reaching out in every direction too, and that blue, blue sky. HDR is something I haven't worked with much - can I ask which programme you used to do this one? It's added to the image without giving away that you've used it, so I'd be very interested to know. Faved this one, I'm very impressed.
