As I post this picture from last winter, it's -17 degrees F. Way too cold to go out to take pictures, and I don't have many left. Thanks for the comments.
In the south of Germany they had for two days about -17°F but the lowest we have had this year is about +17°F. That was bad enough for me. Dress up warm Jimbob, and don't catch a cold. A lovely winter scene with a deep blue sky.
Jimbob, This is a wonderful winter scene. Good focus and winter color's to enjoy. The title is perfect!! As we sit here trying to keep warm. :) If your running out of images how about some more fractal's? I know you have the talent and skill to do them. Stay warm Jim, and I won't be opening the window for bird shots today! =^..^= sandi ♪
I Feel for you Brother Jim.
I Don't know how ya'll make it through those Hard Winters Up there. This Coonie would Die For Shure !
Thanks for showing what I don't have to put up with.
Oh.......I forgot .....I have the Hurricanes !
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
-17 degrees F is too cold to go out for a photo shoot, so I can lend out you some images Jimbob, lol.
Great winter post my friend. Watching the blue sky, think it was pretty cold too when you've captured this image last winter.
Regards, Cornelius.
Le'mme tell ya what, this baby is a keep-pah fer me. This was some tough exposure and you bagged it perfectly. Two things really grab my eye: the snow bank in the lower right of the image has such wonderful detail with the brush and slightly brown grasses. Then, there is the little island to the right in the middle of the lake which also has wonderful detail and eye catching light brown grasses. Wonderful work. Would you tell me what lens you used to capture this?
Momma
This is a beautiful shot, and surely one to keep. Come visit me, it's 0 here now, after -32 last week! BUT won't last. I'd be interested in the tech stuff also, unless you are keeping that a secret.
I don't blame you for not going out and getting a fresh shot that looks like the one you had in the freezer. Makes sense JimboB. I never thought I would say that about you. lol.
Your Aldrich Pond is quite photogenic. Nice post. Have a good weekend.
Hmmm, I am so pleased I live in Australia, that is way too cold for me!!!! LOL. This is a wonderful winter post, good composition even if it looks brrrrr!!!! Lyn.
Great photo...maybe this cold winter was a good thing, made you go back into the box and pull out some very good overlooked pics! I like this one:)
