A cooper is a craftsman that makes and repairs barrels. Buckets, too, I would think. Thanks for the comments and views.

I've watched barrell making before and it really is quite an art. You've really put together a fine village. I bet all of these would look great in a brochure.

Very, very skilled trade is coopering. When putting a barrel together you seem to need at least three if not four hands but one cooper does it by him/her self. Another great looking traditional building Jim.

Weathered wood is really good for FDR JimboB and this is a great example. At first I thought they sold donuts and coffee from the title. Beautiful addition to the village. I too wonder about the people. Is it a ghost town?
