About a half hour after getting the FIRST SHOT, I went back out, and the other one was breaking through. I was really lucky to get this shot, because it was close to 9:00PM Easter time, and there was so little light. It took close to 30 seconds just for the camera to focus. I DID use the flash. Thanks for the comments.

Too cool isn't it. Great job on this one Jim...I like it better than the first post. wonderful focus and color on these ugly little things.....can you tell I don't like them personally very much? I have to admit though, it is a pleasant sound to hear them in the early evening buzzing away in the trees. I think of it as the sound of the South in Summer.

The first one is already out and singing. The horoscope of the second one will be different because it arrived later LOL! Wonderful capture, Jimbob.

Well at least we don't have to worry about you "coming out of your shell," I think you have been out and wild for sometime JimboB. This is the best one thus far in MHO. They do look like something from another world. How long did they stick around after they escaped the shell?

Excellent and amazing capture with your camera and lens. This is even better than the first. Both are so in focus, and great detail even if they are ugly! :) Very rare shot I would guess Jim, Kudos! =^..^=sandi

A marvellous capture of real-life nature taking place before your very eyes. The image is crystal clear with just the right lighting.

Oh! My gosh, you have a lot of those things. Wait till they all get together to serenade you. I'd be getting the bug spray out if I were you. Unless you like their music.....

Another good 'un, Jimbo. I'm starting to think you sat in the yard all night to get these great shots. Sittin' in a lawn chair with a case of brew your camera and a flashlight.
Well done.
