That is one Gorgeous butterfly Jimbob and loving this series of yors. Really love the way the pretty flower is almost pointing to the beauty. Bravo of a shot
The butterfly and flower look color coordinated like they are wearing matching outfits. I like the angle of this shot looking down with his wings partially open. Very eye pleasing Jimbob!
Hi Jim your gallery is really interesting and so rich of wonderful picture.
Have you ever think to propose your photos to a publisher and make a book? I've a title right for this purpose "The hidden world of butterflies".
Thanks for sharing
Ed.
Hi Jim.. funny is when I see your little picture and hear the name JimBob I see such tough man.. but this though man knows how to capture a tender little animal so brilliantly! Big compliment for this series! Mich
A fine looking Butterfly image,Jimbo. You got a lot of butterflies i've never seen before in that house of yours. It must get pretty crowded in there and who cleans up all the butterfly droppings?? Excellent work, Saved.
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Wow, I like the diagonal lines the butterfly and flower take on in this from the angle you took them. Lovely colour, light and clarity too. Well done!

This has the appearance of having been a stop action shot and a very fine one it is. I know how they move about and open and close their wings so much, yet you were able to get in there and come away with this really pretty butterly with great clarity. Well done shot, Jimbo.
They must have had to put a net around you to get you out of the Butterfly House JimboB. I am glad they let you flutter about for as long as they did. Buckeyes lost a heart breaker. Mizzou just squeaked by Bowling Green. Have a good week and this is a sweet shot.
