Superb closeup Jimbob! Maybe the butterfly is resting for a time on the soft petal until it's wing feels better.

Very lucky that this butterfly posed on such a beautiful flower for you. I'm not sure if I have ever seen a flower of this shade. The butterfly is well captured. Good job. And good luck in the contest as well.

Hey Jim first off I did not know you were a head banger! Lol!
Second I must say this is a beautiful capture and the contrast of the butterfly against the color of the flower is wonderful. Good luck in the contest with this fine entry.

A fine butterfly macro, Jimbo. Excellent detail and colour in this image. I like the orange hibiscus, It's a shame about the broken wing on the butterfly. Great contest entry, Good luck.

This colour is very interesting, i think it is half way from orange to peach. Not my favourite, but with this nice poor butterfly it is very harmonious.
