He doesn't look very express at the moment, Jim. Mind you, I wouldn't want to race him.
I hope you used a looooooooong lens for this one. He sure looks in a mean mood.
Fabulous shot.
Jimbob - Polar bears are beautiful animals - but not very friendly. You got the best view - from across a safety fence! In their natural habitat, the polar bear stalks with its nose low in the snow, so all that could be seen is the white fur that blends with the snow. There's a saying in Alaska that when you see a polar bear, it's too late. A terrific photo! Thad

In Berlin recently a mentally deranged woman jumped into the "pool" to bathe together with the polar bears. She was saved but severely injured. Great shot of this most dangerous animal, Jimbob
Excellent clarity. The bear stands out well against that background. The animal is very cute but extremely dangerous. Unfortunately it's on the extinction path due to global warming and melting of ice in the polar.
The rock appears to have a ghostlike face looking at the polar bear JimboB. I really like the soft, pale colors and how they work together to form a wonderful scene. Eskimo Pies are on you.
What a wonderful capture this is Jim, love it! It´s so sad to know these beautiful animals are an endangered species. I do hope they can be saved. Excellent work! Saved&Faved
With that smirky grin on his face, I bet he thinx he's King of the North(Pole)...and I imagine he is!! I love the way the fur looks! And he looks like he's strolling along like he, for sure, owns his world! I love this photo. Absolutely awesome. Got anymore animals stashed somewhere Jimbo? Verena
Isaiah 26:3-Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: Because he trusteh in thee.

Very nice bear! I used to work at Sea World when I was at Uni in Australia and I used to spend my lunch break with the polar bears. Awesome animals : )
I hope you used a looooooooong lens for this one. He sure looks in a mean mood.
