Looks like it should be named zebra head duck with the strips on the head. What ever type he is, you did a great shot of him.

Jimbob - Jerome identified it correctly, so I can tell you definitively that it is a bar-headed goose, aka stripe in his eye, which is better than spit in his eye. Nicely photographed. Thad
