And the lines of the gear itself work well on the note of leading lines in conjunction with your composition. Tying in the gear itself with the ... whatever that thing is called in the left-hand background.
Really like the close up shot of this and how you can just see the spiderwebs in the background. I'm afraid that if you do it as a B/W like purmusic suggested you wont be able to see all the rust and different shades of green on the gears.
Could use a bit more focus on a smaller part, maybe, but this is very very good photography! Did you use a tripod? I must say I do prefer ,I think, this colours because it looks so real. Work I certainly do enjoy Jim! Mich
