Excellently composed, Jimbob, and the repetitive windows, trees and overhangs make for a great lead in to the lighthouse. Would love to see the view from the top floor.
Housing for all the lighthouse operators no doubt. With new government regulations the operators must change every hour. Now they need to allow such refresh time for the flight controllers! Fine shot and angle for it Jim.
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
Condo Owner: "Did you have a good view of the water from the condo? Unappreciative guest: "No, the stupid lighthouse blocked my view." I wonder if the Indians realize how much we were going to infringe on their territory when it all began. You know, those Cleveland Indians. Great shot and it says a lot, JimboB.
I have to agree with the other comments on the composition of this, Jim - it's great. The image has a nice, light, airy feel to it for me - the colors maybe? Good work -
Those are really interesting buildings and you have taken a real good angle shot of these, and the line of trees at their base. The lighthouse just finishes off this shot perfectly. Well done! Ann
Now that is what I call excellent use of perspective, Jimbo. I love the way the condominiums fade into the distance. If the lighthouse wasn't there, maybe the condos would have gone on into infinity. Nice colors and a great sky. You guys in the Midwest aren't getting many sunny days I guess.
Great view. The condos lead your eyes right to the lighthouse and the band of red around the lighthouse really stands out and sets off the image. Nice work.
