The first shall be last and the last shall be first and East is East and West is West and I don't know which one I like best anyway. These have all been so good, it doesn't matter what order you put them in. I am glad you did decide to take us on this bridge. That orange Autumn color couldn't be in a better spot waiting on the other end or is that the beginning? Love the lines of the bridge overlaying the scene of the mill and the Autumn show of colors.
Ana a fine end it is Jim. Takes us right back to the beginning. I will be off to look for some such places this week end. I fear I will come up empty...I will still try...LOL. Thank you for the trip to your Mill. Cindy summed it up beautifully!
It has been a good series JimboB. I like old bridges and this is a good one. Bridges are disappearing from the landscape. Many places where they had bridges years ago, now they put in a tube, concrete floor and walls and there you go. No style. Good post.
If ever Im fortunate to visit this place, it will be like Ive been there before, but through your eyes. I like the perspective of this bridge and the lines. Well done! Ann
Personally Jimbob, I think you took this shot first and for no apparent reason are telling us that you took it last. I think that's a low down, dirty thing to do. And let me add that I have no reason whatsoever for believing that you did anything like that. It just sounded good at the time.
Your post photo work has been fabulous on this series. Once again the focus looks soft but in a good way. You once told me that you could never masquerade as Dorothy because of your distinctive style. I am now at the point where I can spot an original Jimbob in the VB immediately.
I do have one question. I can see that there are some beautiful clouds, but I would call this a party sunny day. Where are the shadows? I've heard that vampires don't have a reflection in a mirror. Just never heard that rednecks can shoot photos without shadows.
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
