Oh I love this of course the wild chestnut & white pony. I'd love to give him some TLC plus some great food, he needs more weight on him. Right into my favs
Such a lovely one this is. Were you on vacation? I have been there and seen these lovely horses come running down the beach right at the water's edge. I hope they get to stay there forever.
As always, Jimbob, this is an excellent example of your skills in photographing wild creatures. And this isn't even a zoo in Ohio!! Wonderfully composed and perfectly focused. How about an action seen? Try climbing on top of this guy. I don't believe I've seen any of your shots taken from the inside of an emergency room. :-)
Very furry looking animal - perhaps my Boris would not reject it at once as he does with the normal size horses ... But I would like to see it turning on its back and showing its belly while spotting my doggie. Otherwise - no go ! Boris would do his best to chase them all away. LOL Yours SAM
He may be wild but he sure isn't starving to death. They have wild horses on Ockracoke Island in North Carolina but I never saw any. Pretty deep red/orange coat in the sunshine.
Hello Jim....I like the way you have used the natural light to enhance the colour of the horse...It looks very sad and hungry, but I am sure if it runs freely it is hardy and has no problem surviving in all weathers...Well done....All the very best to you Jim.....Mick.
[Looks around, in case she's see's this!!] .. ~Chuckles!~
Superb details on this nag mate...the colours really hit the eye
