On this day, it was actually too hot to be there taking pictures, so I don't know how this kid could stand there in the hot sun fishing!

Well I guess like you he braved the heat to enjoy what he likes to do. :) This is so clear, and wonderful color, and of course I like those reflections. A very tranquil scene Jim.

A good capture of such a tranquil scene Jimbo. Great clarity and reflections. If you get to hot just jump in the water.

Good shot Jim. Perhaps he was out of work and whatever fish he caught was his food for the day. Sad but could be true these days.

He's young that is how he could do it. There is plenty of shade so he could step back and get out of the sun. Really nice photo, nice and sharp.

Classic shot Jim - a man alone with his thoughts and the fish story he will concoct!

Heat doesn't bother kids as much as it does us. lol Neat shot of the one boy trying his luck and skill. He was probably glad no one else was there doing the same thing.

I think the boy doesn't understand that for the fish it was even too hot to bite, lol.

Very fine post Jimbob.

The benches are in the shade, which is nice, but it would also be great if they were located closer to the water for that fisherman. Interesting shot.
