Jim, I think it is so neat that you follow through with the same subject shoot, shot at different time. I bet this house does command attention among the rest with the color of it. Kudos on a very good post. =^..^=tigs♥

If this is a morning shot, I suspect they have their windows covered to block the intensity of the light. It is a great shot, Jimbob. Filled with pathos and composed so very well.
Maybe it's because they paint it a different color every year, JimboB. :) I can only speculate how Broadkill Beach got its name. Good walk on the beach shot.

Love that color on the beach house as it would match the turquoise & blues of the ocean. Perfect lighting & what a great place for a walk. Beautifully captured, Jim.
A delightful and lighthearted mood to this charming scene...I too love the color of the house combined with the water and sky colors and that bird in the distant sky provides an additional element of interest...would love to reside there...great shot, Jim.
the title says it all! i have always wondered why people build there house on sand so close to the water? must be a beach when it gets washed away from a hurricane! you got a wooser of a shot here jim, love the shade & the sun both playing tricks on the eyes, good comp as well
Marvelous composition and depth, really like the colours of those beach houses and the playing of shadows. It looks like in full a pelican or large bird flying, I know by the shape of the wings it is not a gull.
