This was taken Friday when it was about 40F and a little windy. The Harbor Of Refuge Lighthouse sits off shore with Delaware Bay on the left, and the Atlantic Ocean on the right. The weather in Ohio is not permitting me to leave Delaware just yet, so I will just stay here and enjoy my Granddaughter a little while longer.

I can well understand that you prefer this to 10 F and heavy snow Jimbob. Lovely and peaceful beach scene well composed and photographed.

At 40�F...I would be reluctant to leave here too....Besides...the pleasures you have of playing with your granddaughter over-rides everything!

You did a good job on this one Jim, good depth, and nice natural looking colors tones, makes this a very nice post. I would recommend waiting out the snow, to stay safe, good thinking on your part. tigs =^..^=

You definitely don't want to come back to Ohio now Jim with this blizzard starting to plow thru the Midwest. This looks much preferable to me - I love the distant glimmer of the lighthouse.

A good second shot of the beach scene on this cold blustery day. Nevertheless, I would enjoy breathing in some of the salty sea air. Bravo, Jimbob.
