This is a long deck and walkway that goes from a bath house, to the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware. It stretches over the sand dunes, but is not all the way to the water as it appears in this shot.

Good one Jim! Is that a cross? Did someone slip on the board walk and meet their maker?

Nice view and good depth in this shot. That walkway has been built solid to withstand weather. This will be a good one for the B/W challenge Jimbob.

Good perspective and lines looking down the deck. The cross on the right appears like it also serves as a sign post. The sign probably read, "Church Services On Sunday - If life stinks - we have a pew for you." Good one for the challenge, Jimbob.

Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")

A beautiful shot JimBob. I often look at all the decks and walkways over the dunes and wonder how many board feet of lumber there are protecting our dunes and all the little creatures and plants that thrive there.

Every part of this capture is good, really necessary in the scene.. the pole and vegetation on the right side compliment the angle of the shot and the simplicity of the image. Really nice in black and white.
