What am I ? This structure has been standing since 1964,and was givin landmark status.it stands 140 feet tall and weighs over 700.000 pounds .... I was lucky to get underneath this behemoth because its basin is drained of water during the winter months.

It must be a globe, big globe... And if I were right, it might be a new model for the top of the Daily Planet's Building in next Superman movie, LOL...!
But really, this shot is great, you got the best angle, it goes to my fav. So tell me what it is...

That's the giant globe at Flushing Meadows, Queens. (I cheated. Did some googling.) LOL. Pretty nice picture at that angle. Good work.

This globe was put in Flushing Queens, for the Worlds Fair in 1964. I was only one at the time when I went with my parents. Lets go Mets!
