Only a few more photos left. This is my favorite of the bunch. This is another lighthouse, our rocky shore, and one of the bridges crossing over to Illinois from my fair city. A little south of the traffic bridge is a railroad bridge. Enjoy and thanks for the views and comments my dear friends. I hope you all had a great holiday!

I haven't been around so I have missed these great photos. That is such an interesting lighthouse right on the edge of the water. It looks like the city takes good care of the waterfront.

Composition is great, and I like the diagonal lines that the river makes as it recedes into the distance...Looks like it was a gorgeous day for picture-taking!

Being a lover of the color Blue this really catches my eye. Joanie you have done such a great job stepping over from fractals to using your camera. Don't know why you have not done it sooner. Faved this well composed image with lovely vivid colors and details. I had no idea you had lighthouses on the river. Now you are a master of fractals and really stepping up to the plate for this kind of work also. I love your fractals and hope you don't stop sharing some with us. sandi♥

This is a fabulous shot for a fractalizer by trade. Soon you will be in the upper echelon of picture takers. I love the blues in this. Way to go Joanie.

Just great CL. I agree this is the best thus far. I too like how the Lighthouse and the bridge compliment each other. Such a great view and it is nice to see the Mississippi at rest. Great photo.
