Hi Junie Gem, this is just gorgeous, especially the way you have positioned him, with feathers flaired! Another great action shot! I think that you and that camera have become the very best of friends, and make a perfect pair!! And again, the deep blue water with the snow white bird creates a beautiful image! Very nice June, Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi June, I always enjoy watching these beautiful elegant swans in action and that is excactly what you captured here. I agree with Marilyn... the position of the swan is perfect with the wings flaired out. The whiteness of the swan really stands out against the gorgeous blue. A lovely crisp image... I just love it. Excellent work!
It is an excellent capture, June. It's a great action shot.but would have been even better
if you had framed the body in the Right third of the frameand just a bit higher. This would have given the full wing spread, and shown more of the reflection in the water.
I mention this, because it may have appeared to be framed that way in your viewfinder, but the camera recorded it as we see it. This often occurs when your eye isn't centered in the viewfinder, of a non Single Lens Reflex camera. And especiallywhen trying to grab those elusive action shots.
Oh gosh he’s so beautiful I wish I could see all of him. There’s tons of detail in his feathers and he stands out so well from that gorgeous blue water. That dynamic posture is really eye catching too.
Nice capture angel. This fella is certainly doing his best to woo the woman of his dreams to have his goslings, isn't he? The white against the dark blue is great contrast. I hope you have more images of this guy doing "the dance"...they are fascinating to watch. Right into my favorites folder on my harddrive so I can run this on my screensaver slideshow! Thank you ~:)
