Here is another Impatient. For any of those who thought the previous upload of this flower was a rose, it sure does look like one but it is really a flower called "Impatient".
JuneBug
(You are close on the name.) Impatiens is a genus of about 800-1000 species of flowering plants in the family Balsaminaceae. The genus has a wide distribution throughout the northern hemisphere and tropics, although they are not found in South America. Some species are annual plants and produce flowers from early summer until the first frost, while perennial species, found in milder climates, can flower all year. They can exist both in, and out, of direct sunlight. Some Impatiens hybrids have commercial importance as garden plants.
Impatiens parvifloraMajor common names for one or more species include balsam, jewelweed and busy lizzie.
The plant derives its scientific name Impatiens ("impatient") and the common name "touch-me-not" from the plant's seed pods. When the seed pods mature, they "explode" when touched, sending seeds several metres away.
This is another beauty June. Your composition couldn’t be improved and the colours are glorious. How are you getting the background separation? You can forgive people for thinking it’s a rose, there is a striking resemblance.
Yes, i just learned everything about Impatiens from sailorman =D I like the image too and it looks like the flower is glowing when against the black bground.
Hello everyone, I was only just informing everyone of the actual type of flower and name, but it turns out they are Impatiens not Impatients, lol.
I too am learning. The "FYI" was just meant as an educational not an attitude "FYI"
Sorry to anyone who took it the wrong way! Have a great day.

Hi Junie Gem, here is another one of your beautiful flowers in her simple mode, which adds dramatically to her charm and beauty! And of course, made more attractive by your classic black background, one of your trade marks! Very pretty and of course my favored pink! Very nice June! Sincerely, Marilyn
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Your impatiens are absolutely gorgeous June! I wish I had enough shade to grow them in my yard, but alas, they wilt quickly in this heat. The color of this one is equally impressive and quite an eye-catcher. Another beauty for a desktop........another big"thank you" for sharing this with me!
