Just a beautiful double tulip standing all on her own. Moved to a black background with the edges feathered for that soft look. Opinions definately welcome. JuneBug

I love the color, the softest of pinks. The feathered edges work well here and it stands out beautifully on the dark background.

To be honest June I’m not keen on the soft edges because they don’t match the front petals. The bloom is a beauty though and your placement is perfect.

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross

Good shot June.I feel the feather edging in this case, appears to make the subject a little out of focus, but then my eyes are not as sharp as they used to be.Thanks for sharing..............Jim

Great color and comp, but I vote against the feathered edges.

The green and pink really jump out from that black background. Don't really care for the blurring though. When you say "Moved to a black background" I assume you mean digitally?

I love the softness of this June!! Tulips can sometimes look very precise and sharp but you have added a delicate beauty and fragility to this one. Such a gorgeous colour.

Hi June...gosh I've missed you and your postings. I like the softening effect, but find the edges a bit too blurry for my lil' ol' eyes....The petals on this tulip are gorgeous and you captured them so well and I DO love the black background, its so very elegant!...it's very nice seeing your posting here...I hope all is well...and keep 'em coming my friend! Hi Junie Gem, this is a lovely tulip, and of course, the color is so special, as it it my favorite! I do like the black background, and the flower standing alone makes her the star of the show! Our attention doesn't wander to other things! Very nice June, just keep them flowing for our pleasure, Thank you for sharing June, Sincerely, Marilyn
