Boy this was luck! I was taking pics of the lilacs when all of a sudden he appeared out of no where. I even had to use a bit of zoom to get this one, but I was impressed with the results! JuneBug

Wow Junebug, you sure were lucky! I just read about these fascinating creatures about 2 days ago. I have never seen one. You definitely were in the right place at the right time to get this friend of yours in the frame to share with us! Sweet capture. Thanks for posting it so I can enjoy it even more ;=)

Great capture. I tried to photograph one of these once and it wouldn't stay still long enough to get a decent photo. Well done.

Aren’t you the lucky girl? He is a fabulous little beastie. It could be a wee bit brighter June without losing the dark background. He is still a wonderful creature and I’m glad I’ve seen him.
