June, you are so correct that it is a beautiful shot! Your autumn colors and the variety of textures are jsut wonderful. It is a very peaceful and tranquil picture and I like it very much.
G'day June,
This is cool, your composition works with the broad flatness of the falls and the rocks and it's well balanced. The colours are strong everywhere except the sky and even that isn't merely a white glare. Nice work.
Mikel.
Well hello Ms June. Yes this is a lovely fall. What a shame some folks couldn't leave it alone. The taggers just had to paint their marks on the rock to try and get noticed. A wonderful image.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

This is beautiful...simply beautiful...June..... a true Canadian look at the changing of seasons.. from the 'The Great White North'... You did a fine job of photography with this June...and that doesn't surprise me in the very least...;o)
I am so happy to see you posting again...and even more importantly...you are able to find the time for yourself...the time to do so....I just know you are having loads of fun searching diligently into your lens...and finding that perfect photo you want so badly to share with all of us...;o)
This is one of those photos....I have taken note of the gorgeous touch of Autumn seen in the distance...and which adds it's interest...and completes the image.....
What a dynamic photo and I'm sure that it was doubly so in person. I am always drawn to falls and water in general, and you really did a good job of presenting this one!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

Hello June...This is a dramatic scene ... love the colours and the water falling over the rocks. The expanse to this is great.....All the best....Mick.
I never been to canada but I will change that soon. The major reason is that my father lived there for almost 10 years and I have seen some very impressive shots he made there at the west coast. Your shot here is giving me another reasons to visit that amazing country. Keep it up!
