Took this photo when I had my first IRL-exhibition this weekend. It was situated at a folkmuseum and I showed of my "Funnymals" I had printed out 15 of them and had a portfolio with the rest (150 of them). I was really pleased with the event and people liked what I had done, felt like a "real" artist *LOL* Sold a couple and made some connections too. Malte on the photo was part of the entertainment and was a really great model. Hope you like it and thanks for watching :-)

A lovely portrait full of character. It could use a little fill light on the left but overall a very good image. Well done.

Nice to see such a lovely old fashioned portrait of a musician jg. The black background gives the old fella a classic appeal.

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

Congrats on your success and I feel you're just beginning. Your people shots are good too...perhaps a new field to venture into? Saved on my hard drive.

I was drawn to this image in the VB and pondered on it a bit before I gave it high marx. What had crossed my mind was to use the eraser tool to go around part of his instrument there by the bottom corner and cut off part of the right edge so that his (what are those musical instruments called? I forget) thing pops off the page. I think framing is usually added to fill the space. Actually it was PJ (phasmid) right above me that I saw do those. She probably still has them in her gallery if you're interested. Great portrait, I kind of rather like the shadow on the side of his face. Accentuates his character and adds to the vintage feel.
