This is a picture of a flower in the Botanical Garden in New Orleans. The background was supposed to be as black and white as possible. comments would be splendid.

Super colors in this shot of the flower. Very nice. Makes the room warmer in cold weather when on the desk top.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
It is a very striking picture. The photograph is a little soft although most of the textures are still visible. I think the grey background does not compliment the flower that well as it is very bright and would stand out against the green foliage anyway. The colours are also very bright, usually such shots work best if the colour left is toned down a little.
