I love these types of shots, as you'll see from my gallery. There's something about a lone subject surrounded by beautiful elements that speaks loads to me about solitude and simple beauty. I like seeing the breeze blowing through the grasses, and the white sand is also a pretty offset to the green and the light blue of the water.. However, the left side where the light is hitting the river is a little over exposed, but the concept here is very good :)PJ

Excellent gallery you have. As for this picture... I agree with the above. The sense of solitude is quite strong here. The light of the sunset also sort of gives and ending touch to this. I think it looks heavenly. Wish I was there. Thanks for sharing. 0Ashley

Oh this is really gorgeous. Hardly seems like a river, more like an ocean! But i like the near-twilight timing and the sand and waves crashing. Really nice :)
