Nice and calming scene, and I like the shadows here..You also managed to capture some of the twinkle of the snow, which always blows my pics out when I try..good job.

i like it. you captured the winter fauna as well as flora. the footprints in the snow and the blowing weeds are really peaceful in a stark kind of way. great choice of subject. who would think the weeds would be this pretty.?

A hauntingly simple image of great beauty! You've made a very good capture of the angle of the grasses and the footprints. the snow and shadows are great too. Nice work!!

Wonderful shot. Not easy to get the exposure right in snow, but you have. Only thing I would like to see is the framing a bit furhter down and left to see the grass meeting the snow.

No vibrant petals to distract here...these blades have a story to tell, and they beg recognition for their existence. No rich soil...just a sparse and bleak lifestyle that beckons one to think what it is here that you are missing...I love it. There is beauty all around, and this is a joy, but why? Bill.
