Well done Alexandra
You've managed to capture the halls lit interior well. Do You enjoy a good theatre production like most well educated ex Soviets ?

Life's around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

What a wonderful job you did under such low light conditions. I love the soft yellowish orange that the lights set up for you here..well done :)

This is both an unusual subject and a difficult shot! Congratulations on both your choice of subject and your demonstrated technical ability. The lushness of the hall contrasts sharply with the casual clothing of the people in the background, which gives it the tension it needs to rise above being just another pretty picture of an elegant interior. I wish the lights didn't glare quite so much, because they distract from my enjoyment of the hall itself and the effect of the red glow.

I feel as though I am actually there, what a wonderful shot. I love the lighting, the warm glow it has. I can almost hear the people whispering :)

An excellent capture, and going straight into my faves.
