A barn at my parents house. Most of my pictures are taken in New York even though I don't live there anymore. Can you tell it's still my favorite place in the world?
What a wonderful capture. I can see why you would call it your favorite place in the world. Such a pleasant scene. Great old barn in this setting of lush greenery.
Super capture of this aging, but still sound barn. I like the overgrown pasture surrounding the little stream equally well. Looks like you had a bit of fog on this day. I might have been tempted to try cropping it a bit on the top and on the right...to give more emphasis to the fog and to push the focal point more to one side. I like your placement of interest and clarity in the foreground (that weather-beaten fence post)...and also the Queen Anne Lace (I think it's Queen Anne Lace). The controlled palette is very effective here as well.
I love this picture. I've never been to New York, but it never looked like this in my imagination. Thanks for enlightening me! The muted coloration is fabulous. The scene itself is outstanding.
