I like he interesting object you chose to form the left border that anchors this image. I also like the background mountain range that gives the eye something to which to jump when it leaves the left-hand border frame. The stuff in between is not so interesting, but these two elements make up for a lot.
I just love how the little pathway winds down...giving it such depth here. And oh my! those mountains and clouds...so much beauty. I really enjoy how you put together the building to the left and the trees on the right..such gorgeous framing with that. And the sunlight stroking across the scene is lovely! Looks soft and fresh. Its a photo that should be framed and hung up...would be lovely!!!
An impressive first post. I'll disagree that the mid-view is not interesting. I have gone from a very interesting old structure, to an inviting bench. From there I view a neat building on the water below and then my eyes focus out towards those gorgeous mountains. I like this very much.
This view from that far behind that old building looking out is just maybe a little too far back I think and maybe what Regmar means.A great photo anyway.
"Tall ships & tall kings three
times three. What brought they from the founded land over the flowing sea? Seven stars & seven stones, and one white tree"-The Lord of the Rings
What a great capture! I really like how there is so much detail to look at. When I started looking closely I saw a figure that looks like the backside of a human in the door of the building on the left. So cool!
this is very pretty! love the mountains in the back. this reminds me of Germany in one of the levels in Medal of Honor:Frontline... lol. anyway, i also like how the town is peaking out from the green grass. great capture!
Are you ready to go to heaven?
Ephesians 2: 8 & 9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Think about it... Why did Jesus have to die on the cross if all it took was good works to get to heaven?
A superb image. The mountains look like something from Terragen, although far better looking! I love the texture you can pick out on the mountains, and the foreground has so much to look at! Wouldn't you just love to live there, or better still, in that mansion in front of the lake!?
"This existence of ours is as transient as Autumn clouds. To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance. A lifetime is a flash of lightning in the sky. Rushing by, like a torrent down a steep mountain. "
