A very dimensional piece made up of subtle tans, browns, forest greens and grays in a sweeping blend that create a wonderful journey. This truly lives to the motto of Kona Arts. The more you look the more you see.
This stunning piece of art reminds me of one of the more outstanding Crop Circles laid this year...called West Kennett Long Barrow, near Avebury, Wiltshire. http://www.cropcircleconnector.com/2007/westkennett/westkennett2007.html
If you scroll down at this URL you can see the Long Barrow itself, and the speculation that the glyph was meant to represent the mysteries to be revealed inside.
I think the horizon line is what draws me into the center of this image. It's clear to me that you really know your stuff! Wonderful piece, almost Escher-like.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
