Those who know chess well know the reason behind the title. Anyway, this is my second Chess image, and my second 3D production of all time. I muted out the star background this time, so they won't reflect so heavily but still exist. Critisize, comment, and suggest all you wish! I only learn from mistakes : )

This is realy cool. It just seem like something is missing in the background to me. but i realy like it. how did you make it?

did you actually create these pieces yourself, by scratch? if so, BRAVO, im very impressed. the pawns seem fatty but its cool, haha. the board is nice, the reflections you've got going on are very good. i agree with bigjon, the void in the background could be more....

Yes, all the pieces were made by me, from nothing. Knight is probably the hardest. I know about the background problem, please give me some suggestions. What could I do to make it look better? I'm using 3DsMax 6.

I liked this so much that it inspired me to start using Max again. Bravo, 10/10.

maybe a clock and books would look good in the background. This reminds me of my schools days

I like the realisim...except it wouldn't be "your move." You see, the peices look as if none of the peices have been moved. But in chess, the white peices always move first. So, if it were "your move," a peice would have already been moved. Other than that, this is excellent!

I cant do any type of work like you can do with your computer. The eye for artistic design is very sharp. I like the images.
