I'm gonna be the "bad cop" here and make a couple of suggestions. To me, the image is too busy, with all of those stems; I think the main emphasis is lost. Second, but minor, is the so-called "rule of thirds" where the main subject shouldn't be dead center in a photo. I'll bet you could reshoot this and get a photo that more clearly says, "Autumn's leaves awaiting a watery grave."
