There is an old local saying in this area of Scotland ‘you may greet’ when you first visit this land - it is certain ‘you will weep’ when you come to leave it.... there is undoubtedly a special character to these hills and glens which never fails to leave it’s mark in the memory of those who come here....Please enjoy.

Another absolute stunner from you! How do you do it?! I often find that if i get a good phtograph its just by luck. You once told me you look at the weather but when i do that all i see is rain and more rain. How do you know when things are gonna look like this?! I think you might have a 6th sense!

The sky is seemingly unreal and dreamy, and the pacts of snow along the mountains give off interesting lines

Well Mick ... I don't believe anyone admires your photography more than I do ... but this one comes across as too dark ... rather foreboding almost "apocalyptic" and I don't think I should be sensing that from your commentary above. I hesitated making this comment because you've provided me with so many delights in the past. Judging from the comments above I stand as a minority of one. Must be me.LOL Can we still be friends ? :o)

A lovely picture - it has a sadness and nostalgia to it that is difficult to capture - but you have mastered it perfectly.
