Love it Mick what a sweet post. I have not seen any swan babies yet around here. Lovely and you did a great job on the presentation. > ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪
Great job. I love the snowy swan against the dark blue swamp. The little ones are so cute and careless while the mother looks so attendive and awake, searching for any thread. I love this. It can make a great mother's day poster!
A striking portrait done with your usual dramatic flair. I love the clarity and the dark water. I hope too that they survice. Is the rate of survival for the youngsters low or is there a particular threat? Wonderful image Mick. :)
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

This is different for you, but you still manage to capture a good round whole feeling. And show the mother protecting the kin, while still being able to awe at how cute they are
Oh, this is just too darling, too precious, and too cute!! I love the white of the birds, against the gorgeous blue of the water, my friend, simply lovely to view! As for Mamma and her sweet little babies, well..........I am sure she will care for them well! Those five little cuddlies will grow so rapidly, and will then need her very little, I am afraid, not dissimilar from the children we have, smiling! This is a truly beautifully well done photo, as I would naturally expect from you! You are so good at what you do, Mick! I hope you will enjoy the summer, and continue to grace us with your marvelous photography, my friend, Sincerely, Marilyn
I'm way behind having been away from home recently. Trying to catch up with so many friends. Spotted this in your gallery and ... well let's just say a Bird image is going to grab Muggsy's attention and one from one of my favorite "Landscape" members made me sit up and take notice. Tis a Grand shot Mick of this swan and her cygnets. The darkness of the water behind highlights this magnificient bird and her young. I am grinning at the protective expression in her eyes which seems to say ... "Not one step closer Sir, if you know what's good for you" :o) Well done my friend ... as always!
