It would be hard to imagine Cornwall without Cornish hedges with colourful spring flowers along the banks of fields and lanes...If one is quiet you can hear mysterious scufflings of badgers in amongst the thick foliage...I would love to photograph a badger...mabey one day....In the mean time please enjoy this Cornish scene.

Wow, Mick. This is another great countryside shot from you. The reds and the greens are gorgeous, and the sky takes my breath away. Just marvelous.

Thanks for posting this beauty. Perhaps you are better off not finding a badger. They are notoriously ill-tempered and unpredictable. I've only encountered one in the wild. It made a sound that made the hair stand up on the back of my neck, then turned and disappeared in the underbrush, thank goodness.

Great photo and the lighting is just stupendous as are the colors. Hedges look so much better than fences and they provide natural home for wildlife. They have taken most of the hedges (fence rows) out here and farm as much as they can. Has hurt the small animal population. Your hedges are how it should be. Another excellent photo Mick.
