The impact of the Cornish mining industry on the landscape was large-scale and the speed of its decline has left a well-preserved relict mining landscape as you can see from this photograph....Please enjoy.

Oh my! But, look how the beauty grew up around it all! I love the contrast in your scenes and the dark brooding atmosphere you create. I especially love the colors in this one.

A really great photo Mick. The colors are so rich and the contrasts in the fields really adds to the beauty. All of this on a cloudy day. The beauty of the foreground makes you forget about the mining. Excellent post.

A really great landscape, Mick. It looks like Ma Nature is busy reclaiming what is hers.

Very nice work Mick, I like the lines of colour and the way the mines seem to pop up out of the landscape. Great stuff!

I've missed a great deal of wonderful photography these past few months. But I see one thing has remained "consistant" during my absence ... that being the quality of work posted by my good friend overseas. This image Mike has just about every element a photgrapher could ask for in a capture. Interesting "lines", Sharp earthtone contrasts that do not offend the eyes, and a spot of rich color to put the "cherry on the whipped cream", so to speak. It's good to be back here at Caedes and my pleasure as always to view your postings. Thanks for being so "consistant".

another super fine image from you Mick, I like the way you always make your skies dramatic, and especially when they are grey like this. Like the colour in this one too.
