This location is home to a beautiful Victorian boathouse complete with stained-glass windows that sits on a tranquil lake, surrounded by magnificent trees...I think that this location is exceptionally photogenic, particularly when one of the resident black-necked swans swims into view....Please enjoy

Perfect post again Mick of this, indeed, exceptionally photogenic location. One must have both a good nose and a good eye to find and capture it. Well done.

Mick, the colors on this are superb, my friend. As is the composition. I agree with Awd Bob, something a little different from what we normally see from you...but just as well done as always!

Beautiful Mick. For some reason the site is not letting me view full screen. It looks great in thumbnail. I too like the positioning of the swan. It is brighter than most of your posts. It looks good. It is still a study in use of light in a photo. Best to you.

It's quite a dynamic composition Mick, I think coming from the nice balance between the angle of the conifers and the slopes of the boat house in the centre. Again very nice light, and the position of the bird is just right to accent the whole thing.

beautiful colors Mick. Nice composition... it seems a bit enclosed due to the spacing and what not of the foliage and i like that. The swan is a nice addition as well!
