This medieval Castle can be traced back to 1379. It is perched 816 feet on a hill It is considered a Folly castle, due to the huge uncut boulders that make up part of its foundations, giving the impression of the building melting into the land….In the 1980s the abandoned building was converted into a Middle Eastern cuisine restaurant…..The flying car that was featured in the Harry Potter films was stolen and was later discovered and abandoned at the Castle in 2006…..Please enjoy.

The green spot looks like a cat's face and the rock formation looks like a face watching the cat. A real interesting picture.

Excellent textures in this one Mick. I like the explanation of the boulders for the foundation. It looks as you said. Once again you have utilized available lighting very well.

Mick - Do I see Count Dracula looking out the upper window? Your perspective gives this castle an imposing feel atop the rocky bluff. The textures are wonderful. Thad

You do have "the touch" beautiful photo. Makes me want to go see the castle.

It's nice we can share our parts of the world through this site. Now you get over to the States and Photograph some Buffalo with me, and I'll hop on a flight and we'll shot some Castles and those wonderful old churches.
