After a morning of rain the sun finally broke through and gave me the opportunity to capture this scene….I used my neutral density graduated filter to control the exposure difference between the sky and the ground…As you can see the white house is surrounded by a graveyard which contains beautiful trees and plants which are maintained by dedicated volunteers.

Your n-d-g filter worked well! The sky looks menacing! The house is incredibly white, a bit on the bright side but I rather like that in this one. You've got good clarity all over and I love the lighting quality you achieved.

The angle on the tombstones is really different then most people use Mick. It helps draw the attention to the rest of the scene which is very good.

Thought at first sight that your image was too dark, Mick, but my opinion changed quickly after viewing it at full screen size. Loads of atmosphere in this one again. Thanks for this wonderful photograph.
