This is the Penzance to Exeter UK railway line...The journey passes through glorious Cornish wooded valleys and there are beautiful views as you go across tall viaducts engineered by Brunel...This picture was taken on a very cold and windy winters day....Please enjoy.

I no it well my friend and this is one stunning capture and you must have put your life on the line for this one.The colours are superb and I love the dark dramatic looking sky too..What also makes this a great shot is how the train with it stunning front colours seem to be coming out of the darkness.Well done to a great looking capture.

A great night shot Mick! I really like the light shining from the car on such a dark and gloomy night. The color of the car is so vibrant. The scenery is very nice, even in the waning light. Very nice work my friend:)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

You nailed this picture. The yellow face of the train coming out of the darkness. Very moody.

Fabulous photo, Mick. Just one more reason to put Cornwall on my list of must visit destinations. That and a short trip from Land's end to Scilly.
