Pebbles at a 4-H Horse & Pony workshop, her first one in years . She appears to be reflecting on workshop's of the past. She's a POA ( Pony Of America ) that had been in retirement for the last few years, until a little girl was in need of a trusted mount. She was pulled out of the pasture, was given a bath and we braided her hair. She took care of her young rider like the pro and great pony she is.

I hope BAM BAM didn't get after Pebbles, Jen-Nay. She does seem to be reflecting. Good textures and the bridle adds to the shot.

Wonderful story, Marsha. She looks like a good pony, though I doubt there are any bad ponies. lol I like that youcaught the light in her eyes so we can see their amber color. Good shot!

The eye tells me she's gentle as a kitten. My horses daddy was a POA. But Appaloosa. His mama was a Welsh pony. So I had quite a mixture!...lol...He was black from his dad and the kindness of his mama. Really great capture of his disposition Marsha!! Love it!

She has a look of contentment that comes from being very well cared for within her memory. I bet she thought showing her stuff for a little girl was more fun than she'd had since her last show! Very nice shot.
