This was taken on one of our trips to Sabine National Wildlife Refuge in Hackberry, Louisiana I was drawn to the colors and the textures as well as the barnacles. Simply put I liked it.

This would make a beautiful picture to hang up in a lovely rustic home or cottage. Truly love this one Marsha, such a relaxing view and capture. I agree the colours and different textures from the water to the tall grass and the poles left of this cock/pier. Superb find and take

I like the way that the green and wheat colors are mixed behind the pilings. There is so much to look at here. Wonderful composition.

I can see what drew your eye, super composition. The dried grasses added to the shot.

Good composition thinking!...Subjects should always be snapped in odd numbers...(As my old tutor used to say to us)

These look well worn and well used...Boat jetty!.. perhaps?

The brown grass with splashes of green makes a nice background for the barnacle covered pilings.

Well seen and well snapped Jen-Nay. The Owd Timer is right about the odd numbers.

Simple images, without fringes, are often the finest, Marsha.
This one in no excetion to this rule. Love the wonderful textures in it.
