This was taken in a youth show barn for boys & girls. It is easy to see where the girls side is from the purple halters and lead ropes , which is the case in almost every barn in the US. Have a good & safe weekend everyone!

Great shot, nice colors and the shadows make it look as though the ride is over for the day and it's time to brush the horses.

I was wondering what a 'Lead' as in the metal 'Lead' rope looked like!...
Me and my dumb brain got things mixed up again!...'Duh'!!!

Quite a good snap this, has good contrasts and detail...it also 'catches' the eye too

Boys are dull, isn't it Marsha? (lol).

Very fine capture, seen very well!

Those sure are colorful! This shot reminds me of bungee cords hanging on the shed wall! LOL. Excellent work, Marsha.

Beautiful colours in the Lead Ropes, the ones I had didn't have such colours. Marvelous shot and textures, love the horseshoe hangers

Like the subject material and colours, but without knowing what was above and below, it seems cropped too tight, and I can't ever remember thinking that. Probably wanted to see more of the horseshoes :-).

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Before I read your narrative, I noticed the predominance of greens and purples. Always my daughters' favorite colors too. Good catch on a neat subject, Marsha.
