On one of our trips to KY I spotted this colorful door at the entrance of an antique shop. I like the colors and the textures in the worn paint. I hope when we return that they haven't painted the door !

A marvelous find Marsha but I feel a bit less saturation would have more appeal to me and maybe a bit more of the subject matter but otherwise this is very well presented;)

The door has to remain an antique too - so they won't paint it Marsha. Nice colours and "designs" on it.

Hi Bruce ,
Actually the shot is not color enhanced at all .
These are the natural colors .
But I can see where you might think I had enhanced it.

If it was well maintained, it wouldn't tell a story like it does now, Marsha. Hope with you, that it won't be painted after your return.

Regards, Cornelius.

A door that has seen its share of visitors of all kinds Jen-Nay.
Probably some as crusty as this. Good find and capture.

Don't think you have to worry, Marsha. I expect the paint is there to enhance the character of the shop. Nice work.

Nicely colorful and chances are they won't paint it because it will take too much scraping first. lol
