There are many things that I find beautiful in the state of Louisiana . One thing that struck me immediately is how beautiful the trees are and these are no different. These beauties stand on The Nottoway Plantation .
Wow! That's a Lot of Green! I always Admired how the Trees flourish in the South... we don't really get that kind of Sideways growth up here! Nice capture, Marsha!
I love the Oaks as well Jen-Nay. They are a sight to behold. Too bad the background is a little overexposed. It detracts from the trees just a bit. The greens are luscious. Good find.
I have to agree with Ron, Marsha. That fence and lawn/pasture are an integral part of the image and add much to the scene. The overexposure creates a distraction. Locking your exposure on that area by centering your reading in the bottom center of the image, and then raising the lens to recompose the full image and complete the exposure would make the trees a bit darker, but not likely noticeable.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
