Some of you have already heard about this guy. I had to fight him off to get a shot of the Ducklings. He's a little aggressive, kept that one foot off the ground quite a bit. I suspect he's showing off for The Hens.
What a handsome guy, probably drives all the girls crazy! Great capture Marsha and I'm glad to hear that you made it out of there with your ankles intact!!!
At first I thought this was a picture of my dear ol' auntie who lives deep in the Himalayan Mountains but then I realized it was actually a rooster, so then I relaxed and everything is okay now.
A little exposure problem around the head!..that would be the light from the window!...
A story is at one time I used a garage to fill up often..and every time I went...this 'Bantam' cockerel always used to attack me..like a dog savaging my ankles!...I got wary, and used to peek all around before getting out the car...but the wee Bugger used to hide 'under' the car and nip as I stepped out!....I was glad to say after a few more days....It was someones 'Sunday Lunch'!!!....

Very majestic, Marsha. A relatively minor crop from the left border to a point halfway between the two nails of the board (upper left corner). It decentralizes the subject and increases impact. You'll also notice it eliminates the minor distraction of the jumble of joints in the wood in that upper corner.
You'd better watch out, he dose look mean Marsha, those claws are sharp. Excellent capture of this fellow, he's definitely keeping his eyes on you. You'd should take the horse I'm hiring for you
Oh my. My grandma would love this picture. My great grandpa had owned the 3rd largest poultry farm in Michigan back then. So she has an appreciation for them.
