Dan (fifthbeatle) and I are going to be gone for a few days . He survived Isaac ... with a few trees down , wind, rain and of course he lost power and internet. We are not sure how long it will be out and the I phone doesn't work to well on Caedes. I was in Indiana and missed Isaac. We are taking a little vacation . Hopefully power will be restored while we are gone. Thank you to those who checked on us, We appreciate it . Everyone have a safe weekend and Happy Labor Day to those who celebrate the holiday.

Glad to hear you are both OK. I can't imagine being in a hurricane like that. ..Beautiful shot of the old buggy/cart. Looks like the one Charles Ingalls had in Little House.

My son in law is a lineman for our local electric company. Him and three others left today to help restore the power in the Baton Rouge area Jen-Nay. The will be there for over a week. Is this a great country or what?
The took their trucks. The felt a buckboard and horse might take too long. Great shot.

Thanks for letting us know all is (almost) well. I think this is what they used to call a buckboard wagon, and it's a beautiful old one...
