As some of you know on Tuesday I made the difficult decision to allow Erik to cross to the other side . He was a Norwegian Elkhound that lived life to it's fullest for almost 14 years . He was a great dog , friend and protector who was loyal till the end . We miss you , our Friend. We want to Thank all of you who sent your kind words of comfort and support.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
It is difficult to let them go but it is nice to think about them romping in the hereafter, Jen-Nay.

There's someone it would have been great to cozy up with on a cold night by the fire. Such a thick coat of fur. A hard decision to make, Marsha. I've had to make it.

Erik was certainly a very handsome fellow and I know how difficult it was to make that decision and how much you miss him...it will take time to heal but don't forget to remind yourself that you did the best you could for him and for alot of years he enjoyed your companionship and love...sincere condolences again.

So sorry to hear about your loss... From personal experience I know the grief of having to make such a decision. Fur people do break hearts with their loss. My condolences.

Marsha, losing a special friend is difficult. Having to say that last goodbye is devastating....but it was the last goodbye! The next thing you say will be "HELLO, MY BOY!" Blessings to you and I will be praying for your broken heart.......ps. I am sure he and my Casey will be best of buds while waiting for us to arrive!
