Stallions are often misunderstood and kept in solitary confinement , until breeding time . It is my experience with them if we treat them with kindness they will thrive as a social being in their society and ours . Yes it is true we need to remember that they are Stallions, but that doesn't mean they also can't be a "Horse " . Some of the finest horses I have had the pleasure of working with are Stallions.

Nice job on this big boy, and look at that eye looking back at you. I like the treatment in B/W, really brings out the whiskers on the old chinney chin chin. Looks like he could be a little rowdy!

He is so regal and beautiful Marsha! I love the look in his eyes and his wonderful mane! The uneven wooden fence railing is perfect. This is a excellent capture and works quite well in B&W.

I agree, I think they finally got Sylvester Stallone to settle down. It could have been his age too.
Nice treatment on this one Jen-Nay.

Your photo shows some of his character Marsha - he looks contented.
He sure has his eye on you and his lovely features are brought out perfectly in black and white.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I know you are aware there is integity in all life. I've known you long enough to know that your energy and focus towards animals has always been loving, empathatic, and healing. This photo displayes that notion of spirit through the capture of this beautiful creature.

Very nicely captured Marsha, you really have caught his emotion here, but I think he could use a shave.
